Frame Ends

By 2x2poplarcutandscanned

These images were made while making frames for prints in my Linear series.  The wood stock was 2×2 inch poplar and I made the cuts on a table saw which is a frightening instrument to use when making tight cuts like these.  After each cut I stood the piece upright on my scanner and made the scan.  The reason that I made these images is that I am interested in the possibility that the process of making art can produce other works of art.                                                                                                             ©Dean Burton.
